On Tuesday the Grade 3 students encouraged us to focus on Earth Day and think about how we can help our planet. We brainstormed ideas and then the class were asked to send photos of action that they took at home. We also took photos of the children being proactive in class about closing the fridge door, switching off the air-con and the lights. We will continue to recycle paper and plastic bags in class. Well done K2!
Thank you to Grade 2 AR for reading to us on April 11th. We loved your stories that you had created and enjoyed you reading them to us. We would love you to do that again! We were excited to show our parents what we have learning so far in K2!
We have been using iPads to make a family book. We wrote using a pen or we used text. Ms Hazel printed our books. We were telling our Mums, Dads, Grandmas about the book. We told our Mums and Dads how to do the number balance - we were learning about addition. We also practiced 'Grab and Count'. We told them how we do 'Style' - we match the picture and the word and if all the answers are correct we get the right picture. We went to see the other teachers who teach us in school. We shared our writing in our journals. We taught our parents some Mandarin. We thought it was - good, great, super, exciting, wonderful, yippee! |
