The students wanted to share some of the activities that happened this week in K2.
"People brought lovely books to school."
"We brought our books to assembly."
"DEAR - Drop Everything And Read!"
At the beginning of the week we finished decorating our door as 'The Rooster's off to See the World'. All the students painted, cut and glued making a lovely door decoration.
On Tuesday we brainstormed ideas and then wrote the beginning of a K2 collaborative story, which we have passed on to Ms Leah's class.
On Wednesday Shirley Chu, abandoned her maths classes In high school to come and read a couple of books to us. Then later that same morning a G4 student, Ran, read half of the book that she wrote and published when she was in G2!
After the book fair on Thursday, we listened to Sarah Mounsey read two of her books - 'Purple Paw Prints' and 'Paw Prints on the Magic Sofa'. We all loved those books.
And today, Friday, was dress up as a character day ! We also enjoyed the mother tongue story session.
